The Summer Student, Customer and Business Insights Analyst will join our Customer Care analytics team and work on cutting-edge data projects. You'll help design and refine business reports and dashboards and assist in developing and fine-tuning AI and machine learning models that enhance customer operations. This is a unique opportunity to apply your programming and data analysis skills to real marketing and customer service challenges and see how data-driven insights improve customer experiences.
This position is part of ENMAX's 16-week Summer Student Program ENMAX invests in future talent by providing real project experience and mentorship. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a relevant post-secondary program and returning to school after the summer term.
Major Responsibilities:
Assist our reporting and analytics team in compiling large data sets for analysis
Learn and engage in our billing operations task management
Provide administrative assistance in the areas of file and mail management
Contribute to our real time workforce management team's goals of operating an efficient and effective contact centre environment
Education Required: Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program (e.g., Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, or Communications) and returning to full-time studies following the work term.
Qualifications & Experience:
Comfort and experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is required
Working knowledge operating in Microsoft Power BI would be a strong asset
Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with data reporting or business intelligence tools
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights in simple terms
Experience with research and report-writing in an academic or business setting

Salary: Administrator Level B Step 1 – $24.82 / hour based on current CUPE Collective Agreement rates
Location: This role is part of our hybrid work model, with office workspace at ENMAX Place (141 – 50 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
