College provide opportunities to develop and advance skills, and to promote
interactive skills among participants. Appleby provides excellence within each
camp using superb facilities and instruction. In all our programs, we emphasize
individual development, participation, co-operation, and fun Appleby's scenic
60-acre campus offers outstanding academic, art and athletics for all its
camps. Campers at Appleby experience an exciting week of discovery, friendship,
sports and fun Appleby College offers Discovery Camps, Arts & Media Camps,

As an Instructor,
you will support activity planning and delivery within your program
area—Discovery, Arts & Media, Science & Success, or Sports &
Adventure. You will contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging camp
experience.


WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS JOB:

  • Support the development and
    delivery of camp activities
  • Participate in all aspects
    of the campers' day including activities, mealtimes, transitions, and games
  • Ensure the supervision and
    safety of campers at all times
  • Maintain positive
    relationships with campers, parents, and staff
  • Follow all Appleby
    policies, including the Mutual Respect Policy
  • Participate in required
    Health & Safety training
  • Support inclusive
    programming and ensure activities meet the needs of all campers

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

  • Are currently enrolled in,
    or have completed, secondary school
  • Have experience working or
    volunteering with children
  • Possess strong
    communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Are energetic,
    enthusiastic, and creative
  • Hold Bronze Cross and/or
    NLS certification (an asset)
  • Have coaching experience or
    specialized skills in Sports, Arts, Science, or Discovery (an asset)

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Training & Orientation (Mandatory) -
    Wednesday, March 4, 2026 (Evening) - Saturday, March 14, 2026 (Full Day)
  • Program Hours - Monday: 7:15 a.m.–4:15 p.m.
    - Tuesday–Friday: 8:15 a.m.–4:15 p.m.
  • Before- and After-Care Additional shifts may
    be scheduled. - Before-Care: 7:15–8:15 a.m. - After-Care: 4:15–5:30 p.m.

WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS:

Criminal record check with
vulnerable sector screening (18+) OR declaration for those under 18

Standard First Aid and CPR–C (valid
until end of contract)
