Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Security & Compliance Officer – REXchange, based in Mississauga, ON, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Security & Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and overseeing the company's security measures. The role involves performing risk assessments, creating and enforcing compliance policies, monitoring financial and operational controls, and collaborating with various departments to address compliance or security concerns.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance
  • Strong Analytical Skills for assessing risks, controls, and processes
  • Excellent Communication skills to effectively convey policies, findings, and guidance
  • Knowledge of Finance to evaluate financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or other compliance/security credentials are a plus
  • Strong ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
