Your Responsibilities as a Snow Team Member
- Front-Line Employee
- You are quite literally the boots on the ground. You'll be a front-line employee who provides exceptional care.
- Driving a truck with a trailer to and from work sites.
- The Winter crew performs tasks during/after snow, rain, ice events. This includes but not limited to shoveling, snow blowing, salting and spreading grit to keep our sites safe.
- You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often
- You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.
How We Measure Success
- Attendance: Might sound basic, but it's critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your Supervisory team. Winter 24/7 on-call availability from October 15th - March 31st since winter storms don't take weekends off.
- Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.
- Return Rates: You'll ensure quality control to make sure it's rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
- Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each
- Customers, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.
- Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all of the above possible.
Job Requirements for Snow Team Member
- Prior experience in snow removal or similar service industries.
- If you don't already have experience, you must be willing to complete training.
- In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.
Benefits & Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 and is dependent on your experience as a snow removal professional. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to remain on during our summer landscaping season.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
