Concrete Laborer/Finisher

**Must have a valid class 5 drivers license and living in Victoria, BC to apply**

Our projects typically involve hand-formed and machine-placed concrete work such as curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveways.

We are currently hiring Concrete Labourers and Experienced Concrete Finishers to join our growing team. Whether you're new to industry or have years of experience, we offer competitive wages, long-term stability, and opportunities for growth.

Labourers: $25–$30/hour (depending on experience)

Experienced Concrete Finishers: Starting at $35/hour (based on skill level and experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Concrete Labourers:

• Assist in setting up and stripping forms for curbs, sidewalks, and driveways

• Support layout and measurement tasks including string lines

• Work alongside operators and finishers in the placement and cleanup of concrete

• Operate or assist with curb machine operations

• Load, carry, and organize tools and materials on site

Concrete Finishers:

• Place, level, and finish freshly poured concrete for curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and flatwork

• Use hand tools and power tools to smooth and finish surfaces

• Ensure high-quality finishes in line with specifications

• Work closely with labourers to ensure efficient concrete placement

• Read and interpret site plans and formwork designs

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads, bend, and work outdoors in all weather conditions

-Strong teamwork and communication skills

-Willingness to learn and follow direction

-Previous experience in concrete work or carpentry is an asset

-Concrete finishing experience required for Finisher role

-Valid driver's license (workday begins at company yard; travel to job sites in company vehicles)
