As a Senior ISV Sales Representative you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in Independent Software Vendor accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Identify and acquire potential AWS Software competency partners

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of software development practices and data center/infrastructure/networking technologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives (where applicable). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well-being.
