As a Planner/Buyer Sr, you will plan material requirements and execute purchase orders for complex assemblies, balancing inventory levels with customer delivery commitments.

What You'll Do

  • Plans, purchases, and maintains inventory based on customer requirements and company objectives
  • Actively uses company planning tools and forecast requirements to meet production demands
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Participates in bids and estimates by being prepared to discuss material requirements and parts availability as well as possible subcontract lead times and pricing
  • Review inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with the stockroom
  • Monitor supplier on time delivery and expedite or reschedule as needed to meet production changes
  • Provide data and recommendations to management on supply risks and mitigation plans

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or partially completed degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Proficient in Oracle, Excel and/or Company operating systems
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and procurement
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 4+ years in planning and purchasing.
  • Supply chain experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.
