We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside/Outside Sales Associate to join our team specializing in Wholesale Building Controls, Hydronics, and HVAC. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and sales expertise, enabling them to effectively engage with clients and provide tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our building controls, hydronics, and HVAC solutions.
- Manage accounts effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive sales initiatives.
- Engage in territory management by identifying potential markets and developing strategies to penetrate them.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while upselling additional products or services as appropriate.
- Provide technical sales support by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, inside sales, or B2B sales within the technology or HVAC sectors.
- Strong account management skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software for effective lead tracking and management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs effectively.
- Experience in direct sales, retail sales, or territory sales is highly desirable.
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and persuasively.
- Proficient in cold calling techniques to generate leads and establish new client relationships.
