There are excellent opportunities in Montreal to work as a Tax Associate at well established, full service law firms at multiple levels of expertise. Lawyers will join thriving tax departments and work on sophisticated files amongst talented practitioners in a dynamic and collegial milieu.

The ideal candidates will have/be:

  • A member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;

  • Have approximately 2-4, 5-8, or 9 plus years of pertinent tax experience, particularly in personal and corporate tax planning, corporate matters, such as: reorganizations, m & a, as well as estate and post mortem planning;

  • Strong drafting, negotiating, analytical and interpersonal skills;

  • Strong business acumen and be client focused;

  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast paced work environment;

  • Be bilingual;

  • A Master's degree in Taxation or completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course, a strong asset.
