APPS currently has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor - Night, shift is Monday to Friday; 5:00pm – 1:30am. Reporting to the Warehouse Distribution Manager, this individual responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations during the night shift. This includes managing warehouse/dock activities, supervising staff, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining effective communication with the day shift team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management System (WMS):
  • Monitor inventory, shipments, and workflows
  • Ensure proper procedures for inbound/outbound activities
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Motivate and direct staff to meet shift goals
  • Assign tasks and manage labor efficiently
  • Provide coaching and feedback
  • Dock & Workload Management:
  • Oversee loading/unloading operations
  • Allocate dock space and resources
  • Ensure accurate documentation and inspection of shipments
  • Shift Reporting & Communication:
  • Prepare nightly activity reports
  • Communicate with day shift supervisors
  • Safety & Compliance:
  • Conduct nightly safety checks
  • Enforce procedures and report hazards
  • Equipment Operation:
  • Operate double-reach and counterbalance forklifts
  • Ensure safe and proper equipment use

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision (preferably night shift)
  • Strong WMS knowledge
  • Forklift license (double-reach and counterbalance)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of warehouse health and safety regulations

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Physical demands including standing, walking, and overseeing dock operations
  • Regular operation of material handling equipment
