We're a recently launched hot sauce company bringing the bold, vibrant flavors of East Africa to the Canadian market-and we're looking for an enthusiastic Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to help us grow our online presence and connect with our customers in a meaningful, authentic way.

As a growing company, this is the perfect opportunity to come in early and take ownership of the marketing department, helping shape the brand as we expand.

What We're Looking For

We want a creative storyteller-someone who knows how to make engaging, scroll-stopping content that showcases our products and brings a human feel to our brand. This is not a Canva-posting role. We're looking for someone who loves being behind and in front of the camera, tries new ideas, and can bring our brand to life.

Responsibilities

  • Create meaningful, visually engaging content (recipe reels, product-use reels, behind-the-scenes moments, customer reactions, etc.)
  • Capture authentic customer engagement at our markets and events
  • Develop ideas that highlight our brand personality and East African-inspired flavors
  • Support community engagement on social media (comments, DMs, reposting UGC, interacting with followers)
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and content style across platforms
  • Help us grow our online following and translate that engagement into online sales

What We Value

  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and strong storytelling skills
  • Experience creating short-form video content for Instagram and/or TikTok
  • An eye for trends and an understanding of what performs well online
  • Comfort filming content in markets or live settings
  • Someone who brings fresh ideas-not just edits templates

Details

  • Hourly role at $17/hour
  • Estimated 5-10 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule with occasional in-person content capture at markets
