The Event Manager is a client-facing role focused on helping our enterprise clients plan and execute successful events using Planned. You'll guide clients from the moment an event is requested through to completion, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring they feel confident every step of the way.
**Please note, this role will service our west coast clients and work in that time zone (~12pm-8pm EST)
What You'll DoOwn client events from start to finish, acting as industry expert in corporate events and meetingsReview event briefs and help identify the best vendors or venues based on client needs and budgetConfidently guide clients through decisions, offering recommendations and explaining options clearly and professionallyEnsure a seamless experience and bridge gaps between the tech and the customer experienceCoordinate event logistics, timelines, budgeting, and invoicing with support from internal tools and teammatesCommunicate with vendors and partners to keep everyone aligned and moving forwardStay calm and solutions-oriented when plans change, thinking on your feet and adapting quickly

What We're Looking For2+ years of experience in client-facing roles (customer success, hospitality, events, sales, support, or similar)Ability to work in west coast hours (~12pm-8pm EST)Executive presence - you're confident, composed, and professional when interacting with clients at all levelsStrong presentation skills (written and verbal) - you communicate clearly and persuasively and can offer recommendations with confidenceQuick learner - you figure things out on your own and under pressure and are eager to learn new tools and processesGo-getter - you take initiative and don't wait to be askedCalm in chaos - you're organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client requests at once; you thrive in fast-paced environmentsExperience planning events (corporate, school, personal, etc) is a strong bonus
