Novy Manufacturing has an opening for an Accounting Clerk. This is a full-time position on days (Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm). We offer full benefits, competitive wages and a yearly bonus

Key duties include data entry, reconciling accounts and bank statements, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial documents. This role requires meticulous organization, accuracy, and the ability to use accounting software.

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented individual with superior organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • High level of attention to detail and accurate recording
  • 3-5 Years experience/ knowledge in bookkeeping, Sage50 and accounting principles
  • Willingness to continuously learn and grow within the company
  • Positive attitude; reliable & willing to help others
  • Team player, flexible and problem solver
  • Safety shoes are required

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Record, track records in Sage50 and ERP software
  • Enter and maintain internal data base and generate reports from in-house system
  • Processing and preparing invoices, bills, purchase orders, and tracking accounts receivable to ensure payments are current. Reconciling bank statements, checking for discrepancies, and resolving any issues that arise. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and various reports as needed.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other staff to help complete the administrative requirements to get tasks completed
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of the information
  • Organizing, scanning, filing, and other administrative duties when necessary.
  • Answers telephones and e-mail inquiries
  • Some light housekeeping
