Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and a passion for food are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring adherence to sanitation guidelines
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
  • Uphold food safety standards throughout all food handling processes

Skills

  • Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food safety practices
  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
  • Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is advantageous
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
  • Familiarity with sanitation standards and kitchen experience is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
