Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will contribute to our mission of providing delicious meals that satisfy our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and freshness of all ingredients used in food preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
