Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while performing tasks that are essential to our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators and skid steers to complete construction tasks.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any mechanical issues encountered during operation.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment during operations.

Experience

  • Proven experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and techniques is essential.
  • Experience in commercial driving is preferred for transporting equipment as necessary.
  • Knowledge of grading is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.60-$35.74 per hour
