Job Title:
Sapiens Policy Pro System Analyst DataVVT

Work Location:
Markham, Ontario, Canada (Preferred Hybrid - Onsite) or Remote

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an Intermediate Java Developer with hands-on experience in Sapiens PolicyPro to join our product engineering team
• The ideal candidate will work on implementing customizing and maintaining insurance policy administration solutions using PolicyPro and Java technologies

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 5 years in role or more than 5 - 8 years in role
• Intermediate experience in Sapiens Policy Pro Java

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop configure and customize Sapiens PolicyPro modules for insurance policy administration
• Write and maintain Java based components and integrations within PolicyPro
• Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Perform unit testing troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Work on policy lifecycle processes new business endorsements renewals cancellations
• Integrate PolicyPro with external systems using web services SOAPREST
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables

Primary Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Sapiens PolicyPro configuration customization and implementation
• Strong understanding of insurance domain concepts PC Life Insurance
• Experience with web services XML and JSON
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Secondary Skill's:

• Exposure to Dynatrace Splunk Stylus Studio BPM or MuleSoft integration tools
• Insurance domain knowledge preferred

Soft Skill's:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
