Program Coordinator, In Home Support Program

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association exists to support and encourage foster families through education and advocacy, helping create healthy homes, positive environments, and brighter futures for children and youth in care across the province.

We are looking for a Full Time Program Coordinator to join our team at our Provincial Office in Saskatoon. In this role, you will work to support the administration of the In Home Support Program that services foster parents, extended family caregivers and children and youth throughout the province. Duties include recruitment and onboarding of staff, contract administration, orientations to new families referred to the program and ongoing file management for both employees and contracts. This full-time position is primarily Monday to Friday with occasional travel and non-standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in administrative positions is required
  • Minimum grade 12 education. Post-secondary education in Business Administration and/or Human Resources is an asset
  • Friendly, outgoing, and able to work well with others as a team player
  • Able to work under pressure, meet time sensitive deadlines, and multi-task
  • Strong computer skills with experience working in Microsoft Office; Experience working in ADP is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build and maintain healthy relationships is a must
  • Strong work ethic
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver's license
  • Criminal Records Check inclusive of vulnerable sector
