Role Overview
This is an on-site leadership role based in Saskatoon, SK. As a Team Lead Light Duty Cleaner, you will actively participate in cleaning tasks while guiding a small team to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism across residential and commercial spaces. Your role blends hands-on cleaning with team coordination, client interaction, and operational support—ensuring every space we service reflects our commitment to excellence.
Hours of Operation
Sundays to Fridays
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example in performing detailed cleaning tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
Coordinate daily assignments and ensure team members follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
Monitor supply usage and ensure equipment is maintained and used properly.
Support onboarding and training of new cleaners, reinforcing company standards and expectations.
Conduct quality checks and provide feedback to team members to maintain service excellence.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand preferences and resolve concerns professionally.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or operational challenges to management promptly.
Maintain accurate records of completed tasks, team attendance, and client feedback.
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and productive team environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
Basic understanding of WHMIS and workplace safety practices.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (standing, bending, lifting).
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between locations.

Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
