Team Lead Light Duty Cleaner – Saskatoon, SK

Role Overview

This is an on-site leadership role based in Saskatoon, SK. As a Team Lead Light Duty Cleaner, you will actively participate in cleaning tasks while guiding a small team to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism across residential and commercial spaces. Your role blends hands-on cleaning with team coordination, client interaction, and operational support—ensuring every space we service reflects our commitment to excellence.

Hours of Operation

Sundays to Fridays

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in performing detailed cleaning tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

  • Coordinate daily assignments and ensure team members follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures.

  • Monitor supply usage and ensure equipment is maintained and used properly.

  • Support onboarding and training of new cleaners, reinforcing company standards and expectations.

  • Conduct quality checks and provide feedback to team members to maintain service excellence.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand preferences and resolve concerns professionally.

  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or operational challenges to management promptly.

  • Maintain accurate records of completed tasks, team attendance, and client feedback.

  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and productive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.

  • Basic understanding of WHMIS and workplace safety practices.

  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (standing, bending, lifting).

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between locations.

  • WHMIS Certification

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
