Job Title

Luminescent Lighting Technician

Job Overview

Responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of luminescent lighting systems (such as fluorescent, phosphorescent, self-luminous, or related special lighting), ensuring that the lighting systems meet safety, performance, and relevant industry standards.

Main Responsibilities

System Installation and Commissioning

Install lighting equipment, signage, and associated wiring.

Complete system commissioning and acceptance according to design drawings and specifications.

Maintenance and Repair

Regularly check the operating status of the lighting system.

Diagnose and troubleshoot lighting faults, and replace damaged parts.

Performance Testing and Calibration

Test key indicators such as brightness, luminous uniformity, and battery life.

Ensure the system meets safety, emergency, and regulatory requirements.

Safety and Compliance

Comply with electrical safety and construction safety regulations.

Ensure the lighting system complies with local and industry standards (such as building/emergency lighting specifications).

Technical Support and Record Keeping

Prepare installation, maintenance, and repair records.

Provide technical support and usage guidance to customers or internal teams.

Job Requirements

Basic Requirements

Vocational school/college diploma or above, majoring in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, lighting engineering, or related fields. Relevant Major

1+ years of experience in lighting, electrical, or related technical fields

Skills Requirements

Familiar with the principles of light-emitting/lighting systems (fluorescent, photoluminescent, or special lighting)

Master basic electrical knowledge and wiring standards

Able to read electrical drawings and construction drawings

Possess troubleshooting and hands-on skills

Bonus Points

Hold an electrician's license or related technical qualification certificate

Experience in emergency lighting, aviation/railway lighting, or industrial lighting

Familiar with lighting control systems or intelligent lighting

Soft Skills Requirements

Strong sense of responsibility, with a focus on safety and quality

Good communication skills and teamwork spirit

Able to adapt to on-site work and necessary shift/night work
