Fitness Centre Attendant

Hours based on the needs of Heavens Fitness Ltd., determined by the Manager
Job Overview & Responsibilities:
Provide a strong presence on the strength and conditioning floor, engaging with and assisting members, answering questions, providing orientations and role modeling positive behaviours
Provide new member orientations and individualized exercise instruction.
Assist in supporting tenants with knowledge of the registration software and troubleshooting Actively identify members who need an orientation.
Provide leadership to member special events and workshops/presentation as outlined by the General Manager.
Assist with ongoing marketing/promotional efforts.
Maintain confidential records of all participants.
Aid in the development, implementation and evaluation of programs within the weight floor.
Scan the environment and ensure the conditioning centre's equipment is clean, in good repair, and that safety hazards are removed.
Actively solicit members' feedback regarding the facilities.
Provide floor supervision.
Assist with the inventory of appropriate miscellaneous fitness equipment (i.e. exertubing, fitballs, etc.).
Tidying of exercise equipment and fitness supplies as needed.
Maintain the highest level of customer service to all Eighth Avenue Tenants.
Attend staff meetings and other meetings as needed for Heavens Fitness.
Maintain a clean, organized working environment.
Maintain a high level of teamwork and cooperation with fellow employees.
Maintain a high level of communication and reporting structure with immediate supervisor.
Support the mission statement and core values of Heavens Fitness.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Facilities Coordinator Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring premier service of the front line staff and fitness attendants.
Responsible for ensuring daily tour sheets are completed and that all items are resolved in a timely manner.
Responsible for ensuring appropriate work orders are submitted by fitness centre and are completed in a timely manner.
Addressing any performance concerns and issues of front line staff and fitness attendants to General Manager.
Responsible for monthly guest services schedule, both primary and secondary access
Responsible for identifying the need to hire new front line staff/fitness attendants as required with the assistance of the General Manager.
Responsible for training new front line staff and fitness attendants.
Responsible to upload the monthly class schedule onto Mind Body and Group Ex Pro by the 15th of each month.
Responsible for compiling monthly class stats and submitting to General Manager by the 5th of the following month.
Weight room floor equipment upkeep and maintaining equipment service log book and informing General Manager of maintenance needs.
Ensure front line desk procedures are current and updated as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
