Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

SAP BW Production Support:
  • Monitor and maintain SAP BW systems to ensure seamless operation of HR & Finance reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BW extractions, transformations, and reporting.
  • Provide timely resolution for production incidents and defects.
System Enhancement Support:
  • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements for enhancements.
  • Design, develop, and implement changes to improve SAP BW processes.
  • Perform testing and validation of new developments before deployment.
  • Provide technical assessment and consulting services when needed.
BW Performance Tuning:
  • Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks.
  • Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Enhance query performance by implementing best practices in SAP BW.
Collaboration & Documentation:
  • Work closely with functional and technical teams to align solutions with business needs.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and enhancements for future reference.
  • Provide end-user training and support when necessary.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in SAP BW support and development.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with BW on HANA or BW/4HANA is a plus.
  • Proficiency in BEx Query Designer, Analysis for Office, and SAP Analytics Cloud tools.
  • Good understanding of HR and Finance data structures in SAP.
  • Experience with ABAP for BW enhancements is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) on HANA is a plus.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Certifications:
  • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BW/4HANA
