Position Summary:

Northstone is looking for a highly skilled and creative Landscape Architect to lead and contribute to the design and execution of our luxury outdoor projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveys, landscape architecture, and proficiency in AutoCAD. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately conduct land surveys to assess site conditions and constraints
  • Develop innovative and elegant landscape designs that exceed client expectations
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other team members to ensure project success
  • Create detailed design plans and construction documents using AutoCAD
  • Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimations for project budgeting
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure innovative designs
  • Oversee project handoff to construction team and collaborate with Project Managers for on-site coordination
  • Obtain permits, locate requests, and any other documentation as required
  • Communicate with the Landscape Consultant/Sales team regarding approvals and changes
  • Experience with 3D rendering software a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Strong understanding of land surveys and site analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to read detail, construction, and concept drawings
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of horticulture is a plus
