Duties

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization tools to present key insights clearly and effectively.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis utilizing SQL, R, Python, and VBA to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Design and optimize databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Support project management activities following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies within Agile frameworks.
  • Perform business analysis to understand operational processes and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Assist in the development of data models, workflows, and documentation using Visio and Bash (Unix shell) scripting.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms while adhering to best practices in database management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong portfolio of analytics projects.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, VBA, SQL (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle), Bash (Unix shell), and Visio.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Expertise in business analysis, database design, data analysis skills, and analytics techniques.
  • Familiarity with analysis tools such as Analysis Services or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute education requirements. Pay: $76,800.00-$93,250.00 per year
