Position Overview:

We're on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Roll-Off Truck Driver with a valid AZ license and clean Driver's Abstract. This front-line position plays a key role in our daily operations across the Ottawa region, helping deliver, swap, and empty bins safely, efficiently, and professionally.

The wage for this position is $30.00/hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver, swap, and empty roll-off bins at customer sites
  • Comfortable with operating a pub trailer
  • Secure all loads in compliance with legal and safety standards
  • Conduct full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and operations staff
  • Represent CFT Recycling with professionalism and respect on every job site
  • Keep your truck clean, roadworthy, and safe at all times
  • Use sound judgment to spot and report maintenance issues early
  • Follow all MTO regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols
  • Basic truck maintenance (Ex. greasing truck)
Qualifications:
  • Valid AZ License for at least 3 years (required)
  • Clean driver's abstract and solid safety record
  • Strong knowledge of MTO compliance, CVOR, load securement, and daily inspections
  • Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Mechanically inclined with a keen eye for vehicle performance
  • Reliable transportation to our yard (not accessible by public transit)
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
