Position Overview:

We're looking for a skilled and dependable AZ Transport Driver to join our CFT Transport division. You'll operate well-maintained transport trucks, hauling materials throughout Ottawa and surrounding areas. From inspections to on-time deliveries, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.

This is a full-time position offering $30/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate transport trucks to deliver loads across the region
  • Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Load, unload, and properly secure materials for safe transport
  • Maintain professional communication with dispatch for seamless execution
  • Keep your truck clean, safe, and in top operating condition
  • Identify and report mechanical concerns early
  • Accurately complete logbooks and maintain compliance with MTO standards
  • Provide courteous, professional customer service on every site
  • Support emergency/after-hours transport needs when required

Qualifications:

  • Valid AZ Driver's License (minimum 3 years driving experience)
  • Must be 25+ years old (insurance requirement)
  • Clean Driver's Abstract & CVOR
  • Strong understanding of MTO compliance, Hours of Service, and load securement
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, and handling equipment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
