Location: Prince George, BC
Employment Type: Full-time, 35hrs per week

The Opportunity:
- Generate, research and pitch ideas for writing, and digitally capture and share stories.
- Write, edit, publish and promote content on the CSFS website, intranet site, social media channels and on other formats (print, etc.) as needed.
- Support the communications team in the areas of interviewing, graphic design, editing and publishing, social media management, social media marketing, and other communications modalities.
- Provide creative social media campaigns or story 'pitches' for program area and organizational content needs.

What You Will Bring to The Role:
- An undergraduate degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing and/or communications or equivalent combination
- Previous experience in a health care, child welfare, First Nations, government or government organization, not-for-profit or corporate environment is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs is considered an asset.

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $ to $ per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants' role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
