Reid's Dairy Company Ltd. is a family-owned and operated dairy within the food manufacturing industry and we are currently celebrating our 115th year serving the Belleville and Quinte area. Reid's Dairy is currently accepting applications for a full-time position as a Shipping and Receiving Operator. This position will be an afternoon start time during the week and will require weekend availability during the daytime.

Job Description and Criteria required:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and some job tasks can be physically demanding (lifting 50lbs);
  • Placing finished products in corrugated boxes;
  • Labelling boxes and checking for quality defects;
  • Operating a robotic palletizing machine;
  • Following guidelines pertaining to health and safety, GMPs, and food safety protocols;
  • Completing daily paperwork;
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment;
  • Responsible for storing and organizing products manufactured on daily basis;
  • Examine, load, and unload incoming and outgoing shipments;
  • Operate a power cart and forklift in a safe manner;
  • Ability to work in a cool/damp environment;
  • Must have a positive attitude when communicating with coworkers and customers;
  • Reporting directly to the Shipping Supervisor;
  • Previous shipping and receiving experience is an asset;
  • Additional duties may be required based on the needs of the department.

Benefits are offered after completion of a six (6) probationary period. RRSP matching plan is offered after completion of one (1) year full-time employment status.
