Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, Permanent)

Location: Airdrie, AB

Compensation: $49,920 – $58,240 per year (Based on a 40-hour work week)

The Role

We are looking for a professional Handyperson / Maintenance Technician to take ownership of a single customer site. You will be the primary point of contact for all day-to-day facility needs, ensuring the building operates smoothly and looks its best.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspections: Conduct daily walk-throughs and mechanical checks to ensure all building systems are functioning correctly.
• General Repairs: Perform repairs including drywall patching, painting, door hardware adjustments, and basic carpentry.
• Budgeting & Planning: Partner with the Facility Manager to assess repair needs, provide cost-effective solutions, and ensure all work stays within the site's allocated budget.
• Collaboration: Maintain a congenial and professional relationship with various departments and stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Prioritization: Independently manage your daily workflow and prioritize urgent repairs against routine maintenance.

• Organizational Skills: You can pivot quickly when priorities change and have a proven ability to organize a busy daily task list.
• Compliance & Safety: * A clean Driver's Abstract (zero tolerance for major infractions, including distracted driving).
• Ability to pass an Enhanced Security Clearance.
• Tools: Ownership of basic hand tools (specialized and large power tools provided).
