As a Sign Technician, you'll play a vital part in transforming design concepts into tangible, impactful signs that capture attention and enhance environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain a wide range of signage including illuminated signs, banners, vinyl graphics, and digital displays.
  • Measure and prepare sign components accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Use electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot and verify electrical circuits within illuminated signs.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently during all installation and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or damage.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand signage specifications and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct routine inspections of installed signs to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs promptly.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices such as meters.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring, circuitry, and safety standards related to signage installation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions clearly.
  • Physical dexterity and stamina to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights safely.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$31.27 per hour
