Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of diverse projects across our organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their project management expertise within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with a foundational understanding of various project management methodologies and tools. The Junior Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success while adhering to established standards and best practices.

Duties

  • Assist in developing detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budgets using tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Trello.
  • Support requirements gathering and documentation processes utilizing SharePoint, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Coordinate project activities across teams using Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or other methodologies; facilitate daily stand-ups and sprint planning as needed.
  • Monitor project progress through Jira, ServiceNow, Project Server, or Workday; track key performance indicators and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Identify risks and issues proactively; develop mitigation strategies aligned with risk management best practices.
  • Support change management initiatives by facilitating communication and training efforts related to project implementations.
  • Assist in quality management processes to ensure deliverables meet organizational standards.
  • Contribute to project documentation including presentations, reports, and dashboards for executive review.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data collected during projects and recommending process enhancements.

Experience

  • Prior experience in Industrial Construction Management or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; relevant internship experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, and SAFe is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability in requirements gathering, scope control, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership qualities with supervising experience or team management skills are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Organizational skills capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
