Insurance Account Sales & Service Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Location: Clarington / Newcastle & Courtice Locations

Position Overview:


A successful Multi Office Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join our winning team as a Insurance Sales and Account Representative  We are seeking someone with exceptional attentional to detail, with a selfless attitude, unwavering integrity, and a thirst for learning.  If you are passionate about helping others and dedicated to growth, and an all around AWESOME person, we Challenge you to be on our team  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Work with the Manager to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Contribute to the overall health and well being of the team by helping create and live our culture.

Qualifications:

  • History of providing an Awesome client experience
  • the genuine desire to be part of a winning culture and fun work environment
  • Ability to challenge yourself to grow and get outside of your comfort zone
  • Property & Casualty license OTL or RIBO an asset (must be able to obtain) *Training and Licensing Costs COvered*
  • Any Post Secondary Marketing or Business studies would be an asset
  • Sales experience an asset (outside sales, retail sales or hospitality / servers) 

Salary:

$55,000 - $75,000 Including Salary, Commissions, Bonuses, Benefits and other Incentives to Start

These positions are with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. This agents' employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
