Natural Life Nutrition Inc. is a leading health supplement manufacturer based in Burnaby, BC. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Scheduler / Production Planning Coordinator to join our Production team.
[Key Responsibilities]
1. Work Order Creation & Production Preparation
- Review and select PIs (Production Instructions) eligible for production and generate Work Orders.
- Ensure that labels, cartons, and sample materials required for each Work Order are coordinated and prepared.
- Confirm availability of raw materials and subsidiary materials prior to Work Order issuance, coordinating with the Purchasing and SCM teams as necessary.
2. Production Scheduling & Personnel Coordination
- Create and manage detailed production schedules.
- Monitor production progress and update daily/weekly/monthly schedules.
- Communicate with production team leader/part leader/operator to identify production line issues and prioritize manufacturing sequences to meet deadlines.
- Determine personnel requirements for each production line; coordinate OT requests or external staffing support if needed.
- Track line availability and monthly estimated revenue by production line.
3. Production Supplies & Material Management
- Manage inventory of general production consumables.
- Conduct regular checks on the production floor to identify required items and submit purchase requests accordingly.
- Monitor the inventory of packaging components (bottles, caps, etc.), request purchasing for replenishments, check ETA, and coordinate with SCM/Logistics.
4. Reporting & Production Data Management
- Review PKG and MFG daily reports and compile accurate Daily/Weekly/Monthly production performance reports.
- Track key metrics related to output, efficiency, downtime, and schedule adherence, providing visibility to management and cross-functional teams.
[Qualification]
- Previous experience in production scheduling, manufacturing coordination, or FMCG/nutraceutical operations preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities across Sales, Production, QA/QC, SCM, Purchasing, and Logistics teams.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, production-planning tools, and general office software.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, ownership, and accountability.
- Korean language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) mandatory.
- Strong willingness to contribute to system improvement and process optimization within the production workflow.
The company is located in South Burnaby near Market Crossing. This is the full-time position and working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
