The Opportunity
The Ministry is seeking a client-focused, motivated individual to support the delivery of career, employment, and employer services across the province. This position provides direct service to job seekers and employers through the SaskJobs Career Services Centre in Regina. This role supports individuals in accessing education, training and employment opportunities, and assists employers with recruitment, retention and workforce solutions.
Reporting to the Client Service and Talent Sourcing Team Lead, your responsibilities will include providing the following services by telephone, email, virtually and in person:
- Managing calls and emails through the provincial call center phone line;
- Responding to employer and job seeker inquiries and providing support related to Job Bank services;
- Assessing employer job advertisements for publication, ensuring alignment with policy and guidelines;
- Interpreting and assessing employer sourcing, recruitment and retention issues in order to provide value-added advice and support related to available tools and programming;
- Providing operational support to the delivery of Employer Services programs designed to offer workforce solutions to Saskatchewan employers
- Interviewing clients to determine needs and referring them to appropriate resources;
- Verifying and entering client/employer registrations and maintaining accurate data;
- Providing information on training and income support programs and assisting clients with multimedia self-help tools; and
- Planning, developing, facilitating and delivering workshops and presentations on job search skills, résumé development and interview techniques;
Our candidate of choice will:

- Interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, ensuring full understanding of issues before providing advice;
- Communicate clearly and accurately both verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences;
- Identify relevant programming options, consider a variety of approaches and implement appropriate actions aligned with policy and guidelines;
- Recommend policy and process improvements that enhance services to stakeholders;
- Be discreet, reliable and exercise sound judgment when working with sensitive information;
- Be an enthusiastic team player who tactfully and respectfully supports colleagues to promote a positive work environment;
- Have a working knowledge of local and provincial labour market trends and be able to identify and assess relevant data, trends and opportunities; and
- Be proficient and knowledgeable in applicable computer hardware and software applications including Microsoft Office, CRM systems, databases, presentation software, online search tools and virtual communication platforms.
Qualifications
Typically, the knowledge and experience required for this position would be obtained through post‑secondary training in the social sciences, human resource management, or a related field, and/or experience providing services that assist clients and employers in accessing training, employment programs, career resources, recruitment tools and job search information. Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software applications is required.

The Ministry of Immigration and Career Training (ICT) has a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of its programs and services.
