We're excited to invite an experienced Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic to join Uptown Air Conditioning in a hands-on leadership role as a Project Manager / Lead Journeyman. This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the tools, leading from the field, and taking real ownership of commercial refrigeration and HVAC projects.

The Role

This is not an office-only position. You will continue to perform service and installation work on the tools, while also acting as a field leader and primary point of coordination for assigned projects.

Your time will be a blend of:

  • Hands-on commercial refrigeration and HVAC service work
  • Leading and supporting technicians in the field
  • Project coordination, planning, and light administration

As the role evolves, there is a clear opportunity to grow into a full-time Project Manager position, should that be something you want.

You'll be given a high degree of freedom, trust, and independence, with a supportive team behind you and ownership over how your projects run.

Required Qualifications

  • Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic (required)
  • 7+ years of commercial refrigeration and HVAC experience
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills

Compensation & Benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65.00-$75.00 per hour
