Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and perform detailed account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms to streamline financial processes.
  • Monitor cash flow and coordinate banking activities to optimize liquidity management.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory standards by preparing necessary documentation and filings.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including audit preparations.
  • Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within a corporate environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and best practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms is essential.
  • Strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, budgeting, account reconciliation, and account analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership.
  • Experience in managing audit processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health of our organization while providing opportunities for professional development within a supportive team environment.
