Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in administering Windows 2000 to Windows 2016 Servers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of client servers and server applications
  • Certification such as MCSA, MCITP, VCP 5.0 or 6.0, or similar
  • Proficiency with TCP/IP network protocols
  • Experience with IT service organizations and incident management tools
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices
  • MCP or MCSE certification (preferred)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Windows PowerShell
  • Knowledge of RAID configurations and disk management utilities
  • Experience with vSphere systems administration and support
  • Experience with Hyper-V host management
  • Knowledge of Windows failover clustering

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily checks on Windows servers to monitor status and health
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot server issues
  • Perform security health checks and ensure compliance
  • Manage patch updates and server hardening
  • Handle server, file, and printer migrations
  • Manage and configure vCenter server and ESXi hosts
  • Perform P2V migrations and manage storage
