Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting in meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
  • Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
  • Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety
  • Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various prep tasks as needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation and cooking methods
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of the food industry and restaurant operations is desirable
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
