Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with a focus on mentoring students to achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with students to provide personalized instruction in various subjects, including Math, Science, and English. The Tutor will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.

Duties

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in subjects such as Math, english and Science.
  • Develop customized lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles of each student.
  • Assess student performance and progress regularly, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
  • Utilize computer skills to integrate technology into tutoring sessions effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an educational settings.
  • Strong classroom experience, with the ability to manage diverse learning needs effectively.
  • Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills for utilizing educational software and online resources.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with students and parents.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
