Student-2-Student is a growing tutoring service committed to helping students succeed through personalized academic support. We are expanding our team and looking for reliable, dedicated, and supportive individuals who are passionate about education and helping others learn.

Position Overview

As a tutor with Student-2-Student, you will work directly with students to support their academic needs in subjects such as math, science, and more (depending on your strengths). This role is ideal for high school seniors, university students, or anyone who enjoys teaching and wants meaningful, resume-building experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions
  • Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
  • Help students understand concepts, complete homework, and prepare for tests
  • Maintain communication with parents and the Student-2-Student team when needed
  • Track student progress and adjust learning strategies accordingly

Qualifications

  • Strong academic skills in one or more subject areas (Math or Science is preferred)
  • Reliable, patient, and supportive teaching style
  • Comfortable working with school-aged children
  • Previous tutoring or mentoring experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to commit to scheduled sessions and communicate promptly
