What is the Opportunity?
Join the Financial and Regulatory Reporting (FRR) team at Canada's largest bank—recognized globally for innovation, diversity, and corporate responsibility. As a
Senior Manager
, you'll play a critical role in supporting finance transformation, operational excellence, and strategic collaboration under the guidance of senior leadership. This position offers high visibility across RBC and opportunities to contribute to dynamic, fast-paced initiatives.

What Will You Do?
Support the Senior Director with the following responsibilities:

Finance Transformation Support

  • Assist in modernizing financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives (e.g., RPA, AI, cloud platforms) to streamline workflows and enhance data integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT, Data, and Finance teams to implement scalable solutions aligned with RBC's digital goals.

Team Collaboration & Development

  • Mentor team members and contribute to skill enhancement initiatives.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture aligned with RBC's values.
  • Promote work-life balance and employee well-being programs.

Process Improvement

  • Assist in designing scalable workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Support Agile/Lean methodologies and contribute to establishing KPIs for operational excellence.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and assist in communicating changes to ensure adoption.

What Do You Need to Succeed?
Must-Have:

  • CPA designation or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in finance/controls or process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of disclosure requirements, SOX compliance, and financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support executive-level requests.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with senior management and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with automation tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
  • Canadian financial institution business/transaction knowledge.
  • Project management experience.
