The role provides leadership for regional sales strategy, creating clarity, momentum, and accountability to achieve strong commercial outcomes. Through deep market insight, the Sales Director shapes regional priorities, builds strategic partnerships, and champions sales needs at a corporate level, helping ensure the right focus, resources, and support are in place to drive long-term success.


This role may be based in the USA or Canada. Candidate selection and interviews will take place from the 5th Janaury 2026 onwards.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic sales leadership: Define and execute the regional sales strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and adapting to market trends and regional business conditions.

  • Revenue and growth oversight: For the region, secure progress through Sales Directors and Managers and adjusting strategies to meet or exceed expectations.

  • Sales forecasting and reporting: Sales forecasting, budget planning, and reporting, ensuring that data is correct, that corporate leadership is proactively well-informed of regional performance, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Market expansion and business development: Identify and prioritize high-growth opportunities within the region, including new markets and key customers, to drive sustainable long-term revenue.

  • Customer experience: Drive customer satisfaction and experience within the region with Sales Directors and Managers and other Sales Operations.

  • Sales Process and Tools: Ensure adherence to the sales process and effective use of CRM to drive pipeline accuracy, accountability, and maximize visibility and impact across the region.

  • Executive relationship management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients and stakeholders, acting as the senior contact to secure major deals and strategic partnerships.

  • Performance management and coaching: Guide Sales Directors and Managers, providing sales coaching, performance feedback, and support in complex sales negotiations, progress of large deals and account strategy.

  • Leadership: Serve as a role model and inspirational leader, setting the standard for excellence, accountability, and organizational values across the entire company.

Qualifications, Key Skills and Competence:

  • Bachelor's degree in or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within the technology, telecom, or cybersecurity industries.

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, such as Sales Director or equivalent, with a proven record of driving revenue growth and managing large or complex accounts.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing regional sales strategies aligned with corporate goals.

  • Strong background in customer experience management, with a track record of initiatives that improve client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Proven ability to manage high-level negotiations and secure large, strategic deals.

  • Experience in cross-functional leadership and resource orchestration, especially in collaboration with marketing, product, and finance teams.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven decision-making for sales forecasting and performance analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage cross-functional teams to support sales objectives without direct reporting lines.

  • Strong technical background in networking and/or cybersecurity (technologies, ecosystem, etc.)
