Part Time Bartender/VLT Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly
  • Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for processing orders and payments
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed
  • Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and food handling regulations
  • Maintain all VLTs
  • Pay players accurately and efficiently

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
  • Knowledge of food safety practices related to beverage preparation and serving
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol as per local regulations
  • VLT experience is essential and required

Job Type: Part-time
