RAC WA is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee our Digital Member Experience Program, where we are improving our Digital Experiences for members and migrating our website platform from Sitecore to Contentful. In this role you will make a direct impact on our members and their experience working across multiple teams from software engineers to user experience SMEs to ensure we are delivering value.

This will be a 12–24-month max-term contract to start with a view to extend.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading the Digital Experience Program : Oversee workstreams focused on improving experiences for our members as we replatform our website from Sitecore to Contentful and build new ways to interact with our members.

  • Developing Program Plans: Create high-level plans, budgets, and resource schedules to inform business cases and deliver programs effectively.

  • Managing Stakeholders: Engage with GMs, Senior Management, and external stakeholders to align delivery approaches and influence business behaviours.

  • Overseeing Teams: Guide and mentor a small team of Stream Leads, ensuring alignment and commitment across workstreams.

  • Identifying Dependencies: Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve dependencies and ensure smooth program execution.

  • Managing Risks and Reporting: Track and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies while providing detailed reports to Sponsors and Steering Committees.

  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Conduct lessons learned and program health checks to ensure alignment with business strategy and project management methodologies.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Proven Program Delivery Expertise: Extensive experience in managing complex programs, with a focus on governance and risk highly desirable.

  • IT Program Knowledge: Extensive experience leading cross functional teams, and end-to-end delivery of complex large-scale programs. Experience across a large scale and or Digital transformation program would be highly regarded.

  • Exceptional Leadership Skills: Strong ability to guide teams, influence stakeholders, and manage conflicts effectively.

  • Project Management Expertise: Exceptional project management leadership capabilities, demonstrating high levels of agility with regard to the management of competing demands and multiple streams of work, and the adaptation to changing environments and expectations.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to simplify complex deliverables and align them with business strategies.

  • Stakeholder Management: Proven success in engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

  • Highly Organised and Detail-Oriented: Strong ability to prioritise, manage competing demands, and deliver accurate outcomes under tight deadlines.
