The Student Services and Coordinator Manager is pivotal in fostering a welcoming and engaging environment for students. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive student services, coordinating events, managing schedules, and ensuring effective communication across the institution. The manager will interact with students, parents, faculty, and staff to address needs and concerns, develop and implement programs, and uphold school policies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Services and Support**:
- Serve as the primary contact for all student inquiries and school services.
- Maintain and respect students' data privacy.
- Provide support and resources to help students progress in their musical field.
**Event Planning and Coordination**:
- Plan and execute various student events and recitals.
- Create programs to promote student engagement.
- Assist with event logistics, including new student orientations and recitals.
**Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student interactions and services.
- Manage student enrollment, progress tracking, and report submissions.
- Coordinate with payment, process leave requests, and manage student files.
- Schedule classrooms, process exams, and organize recital awards.
**Policy Enforcement**:
- Enforce school policies and regulations equitably.
- Attend school meetings to stay updated on requirements from staff, faculty, and students.
**Meetings and Coordination**:
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain program lists.
- Serve as the first contact for school services on behalf of program directors, students, parents and faculty.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to develop and implement student activities and programs.
- Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously to ensure smooth operations.
**Nature of Work**:
- The role requires independent action, judgment, and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines while consulting with program directors and administration for complex problems.
**Qualifications**:
- High school graduation, plus a two-year post-secondary diploma, and four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong preference for an undergraduate degree and relevant experience in office management and administration in an academic setting.
- Excellent support services, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
This role is about creating a bond with the students and supporting their progression in their musical journey while managing the administrative and operational aspects efficiently.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
