Application Developer Intern – Summer 2026
Munich Re America Services (MRAS) is a shared service organization that delivers services to all Munich Re US P&C Companies and other group entities.

In this position, the Application Developer Intern will work in a corporate setting with a team of other individuals as well as hands on assignments that will further their knowledge in the application development area.

Responsibilities

  • Reading Technical Requirements
  • Meeting with Stakeholders to understand Business and Technical Requirements
  • Able to Develop Innovative Solutions
  • Writing Code to support the business requested enhancements
  • Project Management

Qualifications

  • Grade Level: Undergraduate Rising Junior or Rising Senior
  • Preferred Major: Bachelors in Information Technology, Bachelors in Computer Science
  • Accepted Majors: IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering
  • Proficiency in data analysis tolls like Excel, SQL, Power BI
  • Understanding of APIs Application Programming Interfaces
  • Understanding of Cloud Computing
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Computer Skills: Excel, SQL, Visio, Powerpoint, Word, Power BI
  • Other Skills: React JS, Java, Typescript, Azure – API Gateway, Cloud Services like LogicApp, Functions, Git-BitBucket, Rest APIs

This role will be based in Amelia, Ohio.
