Role Overview

As an Intermediate Planner
, you will:

· Manage and contribute to municipal and land development planning projects.

· Prepare and review reports, proposals, and graphics.

· Participate in client meetings, public engagement, and project coordination.

· Conduct research and analysis to support planning recommendations.

· Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to team development.

· Collaborate with team members to deliver innovative, practical solutions.

· Provide expert witness testimony in support of client proposals before the Ontario Land Tribunal and other judicial bodies in support of client projects.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant planning experience.
  • Degree in Planning or related discipline.
  • Full or Provisional Membership in OPPI/CIP preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario's land use planning system and municipal processes.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; GIS and graphic production skills are assets.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (travel may be required).
