Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience with automotive repair, and proficiency with various tools and schematics. Prior dealership experience and familiarity with welding and maintenance are highly valued. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
  • Conduct repairs including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
  • Assemble or disassemble vehicle parts as needed for repair or replacement
  • Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and use of heavy-duty equipment
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics for accurate repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed on each vehicle

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Experience with automotive assembly, maintenance, and repair procedures
  • Mechanic experience with a solid understanding of vehicle systems
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred
