Summary

'Viva Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Coordinator to join our team in Canada. The role of a Halal Coordinator is to ensure products and operations comply with Islamic standards through monitoring, auditing, and maintaining certification. Key duties include overseeing halal slaughtering processes, coordinating with certifying bodies, conducting internal audits, and managing documentation for certifications. This role also requires staff training on halal principles, investigating compliance issues, and maintaining communication between departments and shareholders.

'Responsibilities'

To ensures that all products and processes comply with Islamic dietary laws (Shariah rules), with responsibilities including implementing and improving the Halal Assurance System, monitoring production, overseeing laboratory testing, and serving as the main contact for Halal certification bodies. They also manage internal audits, maintain records, and handle tasks related to ingredient and product compliance, release, and release processes.

'Educational and experience requirements"

• Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is generally required, such as Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Food Technology, Pharmacy, or Microbiology.
• Experience:
• Coordination roles: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a related field, such as Halal certification, food industry management, auditing, or customer service.
• Specialized knowledge: Experience with Halal slaughtering methods or food preparation is often necessary.
