Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of construction and restoration processes. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards. The Painter will collaborate with other tradespeople and communicate effectively with clients to deliver exceptional service.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as needed
  • Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
  • Execute construction painting tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Perform restoration work on existing structures to enhance their appearance
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various environments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding project progress and addressing any concerns

Requirements

  • Proven experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe handling of materials at heights
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Proficiency in carpentry skills is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
